Founder, Managing Director of Hospitality Leadership Coaching (HLC), and Executive Coach. A 25-year hospitality veteran and ICF Professional Certified Coach who helps hotel and restaurant managers become organizational leaders.
Clifton spent 25 years in the hospitality industry before becoming an ICF-certified professional coach. He knows the pressure of 24/7/365 operations from the inside, and he founded HLC to give hotel and restaurant leaders coaching built for that reality.
He holds the ICF Professional Certified Coach (PCC) credential and the ICF Advanced Certification in Team Coaching (ACTC). He is currently a candidate for the ICF Master Certified Coach (MCC) credential. He coaches individual executives and full leadership teams, in person and virtually, across time zones. His clients include leaders from Google, YouTube, and Virgin Hotels, from CEOs, COOs, and VPs to directors, senior managers, and high-potential employees.
His mission is to turn hospitality managers into organizational leaders. He focuses on the skills that make teams productive and businesses run better: empathy, communication, self-awareness, stress management, goal-setting, and accountability.
